Lothian Lavender field in bloom 2017

We have been very lucky with the nice sunny weather this last month or so but over the winter we have lost a number of plants to the dreaded frost. Can't really complain since we are up here in Scotland. But those plants that have survived in the mature patch are looking healthy and putting up lots of lovely flowers stems ready for a nice display this summer. Alongside a local photographer holding family mini photo sessions at our field in August we are also opening for charity under Scotland's Garden Scheme on the 18th and 22nd of August. Be kind to us as the lavender is still in its infancy and we are also still finding our feet opening the field and shop for the first time at our new venue. Looking forward to seeing you, Sue x
