Here are the necessary policies that apply when you are making a purchase from Lothian Lavender.

Accuracy of Content
Lothian Lavender does its best to keep the information on this site updated. However, it is not possible to guarantee the complete absence of errors on the site. The information and other material published on the site may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. We have made reasonable efforts to ensure that product information is accurate and to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products. However, we cannot guarantee that your screen's display will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. If you are not completely happy with your products please get in touch as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue.
Our site uses Stripe to process on-line payments. We do not receive your credit card information. All payments are in UK pounds sterling.
Most items in our online shop are made to order so they are as fresh as they can be going out to our customers. We try to have your order in the post within 3 to 5 working days. If you have a big order or a custom order please understand this might take longer and in the run up to Christmas we may experience delays but we will try to keep you informed if this happens.
For UK deliveries, we use 1st class Royal Mail which usually arrives the next day.
For International deliveries, we use standard international Airmail by Royal Mail. This service is not insured and not tracked. Delivery is ‘usually’ in the region of 8 – 15 working days.
Please contact us by email prior to your order should you require another service or a tracked delivery.
IMPORTANT– overseas buyers are responsible for any customs, import taxes and related fees which are imposed by their country. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. We cannot ship our dried lavender gifts to countries other than those indicated on the website due to the nature of the product.
Returns and cancellations
If you are unhappy with your purchase please notify us within 5 days of receipt of the delivery.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the customer is responsible for any loss in value.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Custom made items
Health and beauty products ranges eg. Hand cream, Body wash, Soap etc.
If you wish to cancel an order please contact me immediately. If the order has not yet shipped I will process the cancellation and reimburse the price of the products within 5 working days of your notification to cancel.
Your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected by anything in these Terms and Conditions.
We can file a claim with Royal Mail after 25 working days from date of shipment and will keep you informed of progress. A refund or replacement will be made when both parties are satisfied the items are missing.

We will not sell your data to anyone.
